Welcome

I have loved to draw and color ever since I could hold a pencil. Studying art at Plymouth State University in NH in the very early 80’s  was exciting. Forty years and three decades teaching reading have passed by and now I have the time and energy to focus on producing art, which perfectly combines my love for both drawing and colorwork.

Watercolor was a medium I never studied but always wished to. Talented and generous artists posting on YouTube and Patreon took the place of the local artist I had hoped to learn from when COVID 19 struck. I’m still learning how to use this delightful medium.

Nature has never failed to inspire admiration and awe. I live in a lovely 4-season state where there is an abundance of flora (and fauna) to appreciate. But I don’t need to go far to be moved by the beauty of leaf and bloom as I tend the gardens at home.
